The Rwanda National Spelling Bee is run and conducted by Brain Teasers Rwanda. Brain Teasers Rwanda conducts English, Kinyarwanda, French and Swahili Spelling Bee in order to encourage students to read, spell and promote language proficiency in partnership with the US Embassy Kigali.

The project started in 2015 with information obtained, scrutinized and documented with contribution from teachers and members from the Education fraternity. It is an annual event and it has achieved much success over the years.

Over 458,000 school learners, teachers, parents and community members have participated in the various components of Spelling Bee to promote literacy.

Interventions are designed to complement ongoing development and capacity building frameworks and to contribute to a world class  schooling system in Rwanda.
